What is a photo shoot like?

Each session is different depending on the type, location, weather, and the participants. We strive to make you as comfortable as possible. For children and family sessions, plan for at least an hour, fun, and laughter. For newborn sessions, plan for 2+ hours. If you have scheduled a newborn session, more details will follow on what to expect during your session.

Do you "Photoshop" the photos?

I minimally retouch photos to retain everyone's natural beauty. If you notice something you’d like changed after your gallery is posted, I will do extra editing for a fee if the editing is possible. I can't do things like adding people into a photo that aren't there, changing your body shape, making straight hair curly, etc.

You sure took a ton of photos. Why can't I have them all?

You will hear my camera click often, especially with young, active children and you may wonder, what happened to all those other pictures? Can I have those too? No, you won't get all of those photos. Some are to test my lighting, poses, or try something new to me. Many times, I catch people blinking, talking, or just in other unflattering  poses. I will choose the best of these photos and will present them to you during your viewing and ordering session.

Do you have a studio?

Yes, I have studio located in the heart of Crosby, Texas. I also love to venture outdoors for sessions and enjoy finding new locations.  Newborn sessions take place at my studio.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens, I understand. As soon as you know that you need to reschedule, contact me and we will schedule a new date! If possible, please give me 24 hours notice!

What does the session/creative fee cover?

The session/creative fee includes my time and talent as the photographer, any pre-consultations for your session, style and prep guides, session time, the editing process, and products included in your photography package. Additional products may be purchased at your viewing and ordering session.

What products are available?

I offer a wide variety of archival quality products to meet your needs. During your viewing and ordering session, we will discuss the products that fit the vision you have for your new portraits. I offer gift prints, gallery wrapped canvases, metal prints, albums, announcements, cards, and many other specialty products.

What are your print/product/digital image prices?

Individual prints start at $15 and wall mounted portraits start at $50.*

Is there a minimum purchase?

No, there is no minimum purchase. **

Do I need to sign a contract?

Yes, all clients sign a contract with T. W. Gallop Photography.

Is there a retainer?

Yes, the non-refundable retainer holds your session date and is applied to your session fee.

What types of payment do you accept?

I currently accept cash and major credit cards.
